Welcome to Kivukoni
Kivukoni School, set within Kilifi Plantation alongside Takaungu creek, offers an inspiring learning environment with a progressive, dynamic curriculum. The learning journey runs from the Early Years (age 2) up to Year11 for iGCSEs where children really do 'love to learn' and, in KVK2, 'where students thrive'.
Our school is a warm, diverse community and a healthy natural environment sets the scene for a school that values broad and engaging learning experiences alongside academic success.

Admissions
Kivukoni is buzzing and growing, with many families having discovered the benefits of a healthy, 'out of town' coastal life, and the enjoyment of the learning journey at Kivukoni.
Though many classes are full, we are CURRENTLY ENROLLING FOR January or September 2027 Playgroup and YEARS 9-11 in the Secondary department.
For those planning in advance, please also contact admissions for future enrollment, to avoid disappointment.
It is also worth checking back in from time to time, as nothing stays still for very long.

2026 Term Dates
Our academic calendar is structured to provide 180 school days each year (excluding public holidays). This ensures strong academic continuity, as well as the time and flexibility to offer a rich and balanced education — including project-based learning, EP@K, outdoor experiences, and a wide range of co-curricular activities and trips that extend learning beyond the classroom.
