Welcome to Kivukoni

Kivukoni School, set within Kilifi Plantation

and alongside Takaungu creek, offers an inspiring learning environment with a

broad, dynamic  curriculum.
The learning journey, based on the British curriculum, runs from the Early Years (age 2) to lower secondary school (Year 7&8).

Kivukoni is a school where children really do 'love to learn', in a warm and healthy

natural environment.
With a focus on constructive behavior and sustainable development we hope to nurture young citizens who will have a positive impact on our society and our planet.

Indeed by being at Kivukoni, with its strong ethos of care and environmentally sound practises, the students are already

part of the solution!

In the era of corona virus, with our open plan classes, spacious facilities and expansive grounds, we maintain a healthy and hygienic learning environment for all in 2021.

Please come and see for yourselves, or request an online 'visit'.

SCHOOL NEWS

School Blossoming!

They say everything has a silver lining - and it seems that covid-19 is no exception.

School has never been busier - bustling with new faces and old, happy little people loving the buzz and creativity of 'real' school once again.
We are grateful for many outdoor learning spaces, as we continue to work with caution through the ongoing pandemic.

The Primary and Lower Secondary students  have now undertaken adaptive assessment tests - and we are ready to support them in a more targeted fashion as the year moves on,  filling the gaps left by last year's disruptions to learning.

We have also been happy to welcome a few temporary 'covid refugees' this term,  largely from the UK, who have  enjoyed many positive new experiences here at Kivukoni and in Kilifi at large.  It has been an absolute pleasure having them add to our school community, and we hope to see them again in due course.
